Hello and welcome to the crazy world of my brain.
Follow me if you like the way I think. ;) (that sounded sleazy, wasn't meant to be and I will just shut up now)

Snigger snigger >:D ---> :(

You know the type.
Coz well.. it isn't a type.
We've all done it on occasion.
I know I have.

Here's situation A.

So there's that person who sits at the back of the class.
A kind of visual depiction for you -  >:D ... well not as enthusiastic though, more nonchalant. ;)
Most likely she/he has her own clique.
And when you are presenting your speech to the class,
you hear it.
That snigger.
.
.
And at the back of your mind it steals away a bit of your confidence.

And then there is situation B.

You walk past in the school corridor and you hear it.
Snigger.
You try to ignore it... and keep walking. But who was it and what is their personal vendetta about?

Then there is situation C.

You were talking to someone.
The conversation went well.
But when you are walking away..
Snigger.

Finalmente, there is the last case.

Never ending.
Now I don't think many people experience this, but the ones who do get it bad.
Everywhere they go, there is someone tormenting or sniggering.
Snigger snigger snigger snigger snigger./
To them, the world looks like:
Note: The people who look like they have egg around their heads represent lions and lionesses. ;)

Anyway... see all those people with the hearts over their heads?
That's all of you.
You can tell something is wrong here...
But society sends the subconscious message that to be included, there must also be an "excluded".
And that poor person in the middle... let's call him.. Paul. Paul the Victim.
Paul is the target...
simply because no one else wants to be.

Oh yes, that actually makes sense!
I like it that way.
See... Paul, being the target, means I don't have to be the target!
It fits with the rest of the world, right?
"There is poverty in the world because if the poor people had wealth, I would be poor", thinks the billionaire.
There is segregation in the world because if the black people were pale, I would be black", thinks the olive-skinned person.
"There is sexism in the world because if females had positions of power, I would be weak". thinks the egotistical male.

It's ALWAYS that way.
The people who are lucky enough to have things their way, pull down everyone they can to make sure they aren't on the bottom.

Don't you simply love the way planet earth works? <3 socioeconomics.
JOKES.
