Well... you can't have it all.

No one can have it all.
And right now, I'd much rather good grades than much else.


I've probably definitely said this before,
but the thing about placing the value of your life in your friends' hands is that,
if they let you down,
it feels like the world crashed.

The more you get to know someone,
The more you expect them to be constant.
Consistent.
Unchanging.

But people change.

And then you're disappointed.
You miss what used to be,
All that time never noticing that you gradually changed too.

Changes 

don't 

happen 

in

a

second.

Not the important ones, anyway.

We're constantly growing and changing.

Someone said to me today, pessimists are never disappointed.
But I'm not a pessimist,

I'm a realist.

This isn't aimed at anyone by the way, it's just me in a philosophical mood. :)
