causes you to kind of *shudder* just like that when you think about it,
and you try NOT to think about it as much as possible but the more you try to draw your mind away from it, the more you're pulled towards it.
>>>> Rejection. <<<
^^^^^
Whether it's a job,
Or finding out someone doesn't like you back,
Or not being accepted into a social group,
it hurts.
Well... twinges. :\
it is a funny kind of hurt.
Coz it's kiiiiiind of like a form of shame,
but you probably don't have anything to be ashamed of besides.. being rejected.
Well, let me tell you,
that I am a reject.
Like with a capital R. :D
I'm the girl who got rejected by the Reject Shop when I applied for a part-time job.
I'm the kind of girl who is kind of cut off by certain parts of society because... just because I'm different.
I'm that weird one who you randomly see dancing in the street or wearing a bearhead or laughing to myself on a tram while I'm reading a text or "feeling" my music a bit too hard in public. ;)
I'm the child who is always the different one, not too intellectual (*cough Haloman or lilwiseone*), or the guy-magnet (*Cookie or buttersnap*), or just down-right talented and gorgeous in everything and born leader (*dramaqueen*), not sporty in anything that doesn't require grace ;) and definitely NOT popular. XD
So I'm like one of the biggest rejects you will ever meet. :D
But heeeeey,
Though I can't really classify myself in anything properly,
I have friends and I have people that love and support me.
So I'm not a reject. :)
So if someone as rejected as me still isn't a reject,
YOU obviously aren't.
:)
Rejection can hurt.. and though occasionally, you might get rejected, no one is a reject. And no one should be making anyone else feel like a reject.
:)
