Honestly,
My favourite part of the average schoolday is right now. The car-ride back from school.
It's the only part of the day when I'm not dreading the homework i've only half-heartedly scribbled down or thinking about whether i'd forgot to study for a sac. It's the only part of the day when I don't have that tiny nagging guilt of not homeworking at the back of my mind.
Vce is like a mental disorder. -.-
The wombats are coming to melbourne, I'm sure you've realised, tori :D - (random sidenote).
Anyways, besides that,
Sorry about the slackoness. To be honest I'm so busy these days that I don't have time to enjoy a long hot shower, sleep 7 hours or email atekays back (sorryyy! :D)
Hmm what to say, what to say?
I want to enjoy the present (as in right now, just to clear up that homophone).
But there's no time to even think about the present when all we do is focus on the immediate or long term future.
This is year 11.
We're only in year 11 for one year.
We're only sixteen for one year of our lives, guys! :)
'Aduhhh izzletay' you may say.
Even my brain is that right now. :D
But think about it.
SIXTEEN.
Yeah I'm stating the obvious. But I'm at a cool age LOL!
I mean, we're at the age when 10 year olds and 30 years equally envy us! (well obviously for different reasons; the freedom and the fresh youthful innocence (and young skin) respectively.
Anyway, point is,
We are too caught up in school and yes, we've finally realised what it means to be a full-time student.
But you're only young till you get wrinkles ;) (as I've said before :P)
And the other difference between us and thirty-year olds is that we have the ability to twist our lives into any path we want in the coming years. When you're thirty, you don't have that much potential to dramatically change yourself and be exactly what you want to be and do what you like with your life.
So we're luckier than the 99% of the population that isn't 16.
Wowowow!
Live life to the fullest! :D
Make of it what you will while you can.
NB: excludes illicit or intoxicating substances. Never recommended. Ever. :D
I've missed you guys. :) i miss hanging out with people when the main guest at the event is always VCE now. it's like vce is the popular kid everyone talks about, everywhere you go. Espesh curry society ;)
Except now I can't back myself into the corner and say I don't care, like how I don't care about what the popular kids ever thought of me.
Coz that's not really an option if I want to be a P&O.
Ehh where is this entry going?
I think I'm going to go and clean my desk now coz we're home.
Love car rides. IPod in, blogger on phone.
It's about the most enjoyable fraction of every day.

I just read this, and I notice you try to sleep for 7 hours!
ReplyDeleteYOU SHOULD SLEEP FOR 9!!! (at least 8)
I assure you it will mean less studying because your brain will be functioning at its highest capacity and you'll be able to learn better!
Also, I think we should catch up! :)
