over something that never happened.
I know what it's like,
Never has a crush of mine been successful.
:(
How depressing.
You meet someone,
you fall in love,
slowly or quickly,
and you just want it to work,
maybe they lead you on a little bit,
or it might be in your head that they are leading you on.. you aren't really sure.
:S
Confusion.
And you have:
hope.
That your feelings will be returned soon,
That you will be with them.
Then you realise it was never going to work out.
Disappointment.
And then you wonder, should you let go?
Attachment.
And that hurts.
Knowing that you SHOULD let go,
But you are so used to the idea of liking them,
the idea of a future together,
that you can't.
Well,
it's time to let go.
You
are causing you pain.
Not that d*ckhead who lead you on,
Your attachment is what is hurting you.
It's hard,
But you simply have to get rid of that little bubble of hope
soon he will realise that we are meant to be together and if I get over him, it will be too late. < this is what keeps you at his mercy.
But this is rubbish.
We both know that the person you picked did not turn out to be as perfect as you expected.
Love is blind. You are ignoring the imperfections.
It might be easier to write down a list of how you thought the person was, what you found perfect about them. Then do a column of things that you discovered they were actually like and how the perfection actually had a downside.
No matter how many people tell you to GET OVER IT,
It will only be over when you decide it's over.
And I'm not talking about that romantic relationship between you and the significant other - let's face it, that never existed. Sorry, I'm really giving out some tough love here hahaha, but you know when you just need to hear it but it's harsh coming from someone? Well think of this blog as a source of information that is not coming from anyone in particular.
Anyway I'm talking about the pain.
End the pain.
When you want to.
Because you can. :)
And you WILL fall in love again.
